About me
About Me
Since moving to Singapore, I have been networking to be able to build my business. I updated my bio so my new partnerships, clients and network of business friends, know what I have done and where I am heading. It’s very important in business to do this so you connect with the right people!
I left school at the age of 16 to follow my dream of becoming a designer. My experience came from working with some of the most prestigious swimwear labels in Australia, as their design assistant. My passion grew in to creating my own labels which lead in to a popular local boutique workout wear label called Bonehead sportswear and the Who is Angie? Swimwear label, which became a popular national and international published boutique bikini label.
With 20 years’ experience in the bodybuilding, health & fitness Industry, my knowledge and experience came from competing nationally and internationally and winning titles in figure, fitness and bikini competitions as well as being a renowned body reshaping coach with leading high profile clients, TV, radio and magazines. This led me in to releasing my very own work out DVDs and cook book called DC Workout!
In 2011 I decided to concentrate on my bikini passion which was still in the fitness industry, but instead of me jumping up on stage I now travel and dress Figure, Fitness and Bikini Models around the world to look a million dollars for stage and photo shoots. I only make 4 bikinis per style each season in my collections, to keep my bikinis Exclusive and purely Australian made

With my knowledge, experience and secret tips on how to get stage ready, I enjoy guest speaking with keen competitors around the globe, about how you can look a million dollars on stage with your bikini, shoes, tan, hair, makeup and stage presence.
I believe in empowering woman in the fitness industry! Competing the natural healthy way is what I like to promote. In 2013 I started the Fit Bikini Model Extravaganza to set a standard for healthy Fit Bikini Role Models which is growing throughout Australia. Dana Carmont Bikinis in Singapore Newspaper
When moving to Singapore 5 weeks ago, my main focus was to meet
with the key people in my industry, bodybuilding, fitness and bikini models as my
passion is dressing Athletes all over the world to jump up on stage and look a
billion dollars!
A few meeting were had with the wonderful Dennis
Tew, the Singapore bodybuilding president who has been so helpful and generous
by welcoming me in to his Singapore Team. I was invited to go along to their
weigh in, to meet and greet his athletes before heading to the World Titles in
Mumbai.
Competitions Excite me. Being a competitor myself,
I know the adrenaline that is felt when prepping for a comp. I was so keen to dress the entire team in Dana
carmont Bikinis, but time was of the essence. Tucked away in my bikini travel
case I had a Blue Treasure Island body building bikini that was ready to hit
the stage, with all the bling needed to make the competitor shine!
Sue Suharni, one of the competitors was keen for a new kini. I got
excited and said awesome, let’s head to the change room to see how it fits! While Sue was trying it on I heard a few
little happy sniggering noises and I was getting anxious to see it on her – as you
do being a bikini designer but also knowing it was going to fit her after
seeing her physique! When she walked out
I was jumping up and down saying, it fits you perfectly like a glove and we
were both then excited.
I was told of the great news, that Sue had taken the World Title
for her division and was over the moon and as I say it’s the body that makes
the bikini and if the competitor wins, it’s a HUGE bonus for me. I do my part
by making you look a billion dollars on stage and you then have to ROCK it!
I would like to Congratulate Sue for her win and for making it to
the Singapore Straits Time Newspaper and Rocking my bikini.

With my busy schedule and goals for 2015 I am turning the Fit Bikini Model Extravaganza in to a 1 show only format on the10th of October on the Gold Coast. This makes it such a special COCKTAIL event for all women to come and celebrate who they are and what they believe in, by empowering one another.
I started the Fit Bikini Model Extravaganza in 2013 with the Following values:

If you fit these criteria’s then you’re a Fit Bikini Model that needs to register, for your chance to be a part of the evolving and fast growing Extravaganza family!
The Fit Bikini Model Extravaganza has been said to be a Fit Bikini Model Pageant, which I think is a great way to categorise the Extravaganza.
